Return for online purchases made at sunglasshut.com

Our Free UPS Return Shipping allows you to mail your purchase back to our warehouse at no additional cost within days.

Please also note that for claims regarding an order not received, the return window is 15 days from the date that the order was shown as ‘delivered’ by the courier but which was not received.
Alternatively, you can return your order in store, always for free. All you need is your proof of purchase and original packaging.

Refunds will be issued in the same form as your original payment method and will appear as a credit on your billing statement according to your card provider. For purchases made with a gift card, a new gift card will be issued through your email address on the order. You will receive an email notification when we authorize the refund of the item(s).

Refunds normally are issued within 15 business days of receipt.

Please note:

  • We cannot accept returns for Customized Ray-Ban Remix products and engraved products.
  • Store purchases may not be returned by post and must be returned to a store.
  • You will be refunded the whole paid price, except for non-refundable fees or taxes.

Multiple Return Requests Policy 

Customers submitting multiple return request may receive one label per product to be returned.  
In such case, each product must be returned using only the return label associated with it and corresponding to its specific request.  

Important:  
 If one or several product(s) is (are) returned using a label not corresponding to it (them),  we cannot guarantee a refund or replacement for those products. In such cases, the company assumes no responsibility for the handling or recovery of items returned incorrectly.

We are not responsible for returns made using return labels and couriers other than the ones that we provide, for which we do not guarantee any refunds or replacements.

Return in store

Bring your item into any Sunglass Hut store in the US and Canada and a member of our team will be happy to register your refund at the cash desk. You’ll receive a confirmation e-mail once your refund is processed.

Purchases made on our website can be returned to any Sunglass Hut store (excluding any purchases made at outlets, concession stands, and airports). Purchases made online on Rayban.com and Oakley.com may also be returned to a Sunglass Hut store. Please note that exceptions on returns may apply (e.g.: Sunglass Hut online collaborations and Customized Ray-Ban Remix sunglasses).

Instructions for online purchases returns

Returning online purchases is easy and always free. Choose below the most appropriate procedure according to the product you originally purchased:

1. Standard sunglasses and prescription frames (not valid for Customized Ray-Ban Remix and Ray-Ban & Oakley Meta AI glasses):

Return through the mail with UPS: 

a) Go to “Order status” and enter your order number and the email address used when placing your order.

b) Follow the procedure and print the Return Label & Authorization.

c) Pack item(s) in the original packaging including any documentation, accessories and manuals received with the product - make sure the package is secure and that the contents are not in risk of being damaged during shipping.

d) Attach the pre-paid Return Label on the outside of the package, covering any previous address label.

e) Once your label is attached and the package is secured, choose between the two options below:

It usually takes business days for returns to be received and processed by our warehouse.

Customers assume the risk of loss for all items shipped to Sunglass Hut until Sunglass Hut accepts and receives the delivery from UPS. You will be able to track your return directly on the UPS website www.ups.com.

Purchases made on our website can be returned to a Sunglass Hut store (excluding outlets, concessions, and airports). Exceptions on returns may apply (Sunglass Hut online collaborations and customized orders).

2. Ray-Ban & Oakley Meta AI glasses

3. Customized Ray-Ban Remix and engraved products

Customized Ray-Ban Remix and engraved products are ‘final sale’ only and cannot be returned.

Return a store order

For purchases made at one of our Sunglass Hut stores or at a store that has a Sunglass Hut counter, please visit the store for return options.

If you purchased from a Sunglass Hut within an airport, you will need to contact the specific store in the airport for return options.

In-store exchange

Bring your item into selected Sunglass Hut stores in the US (excluding our partner Department Stores) and a member of our team will be happy to register your exchange at the cash desk. Find the nearest store here.
We currently do not offer the exchange option for online orders returned through our online return form or Customer Service. Purchases made online on Rayban.com and Oakley.com cannot be exchanged to a Sunglass Hut store. 

Please note: 
- Exceptions on returns may apply, please refer to our general return policy
- It is not possible to return an item to store if you have already begun the online return process or after 30 days. Please refer to our general return policy
- Customers may exchange their purchased items for products available in-store. Only available items in-store at the time of exchange may be considered for the replacement
- Personalized items (Customized Ray-Ban Remix items, engraved products) cannot be returned unless the products are damaged or defective
- We regret that we are unable to refund your original shipping charges, if applicable.

Return a 3rd party website order

For purchases made at one of our 3rd party retailers, please visit the specific retailer you bought from.

Return policy addition

Items must be returned in their original condition (with original packaging, unused, untested, original tags, and resalable). If we receive returned items in a condition that doesn't meet our return requirements, we will decline the return. Should you submit a non-compliant return, you authorize us to charge you for the full amount of the non-compliant return using your original payment method and/or to reverse any refunds previously issued. Refunds will be issued after the returned product is received and inspected.

If a refund for items purchased with a second pair promotion is required, both pairs are to be returned to enable a full refund. In case of partial return, the full retail price will be charged for the model you retain (deduction will be made on the refunded price of the returned product. For purchases made with a gift card, a new gift card will be issued through your email address on the order.

Sun Love Protection Plan

The Sun Love Protection Plan provides coverage for what you might do to your eyewear. If you drop and you break them, or you forget you've put them in your pocket and sit on them, you won't have to pay more than a small co-pay fee to repair or replace them with your Sun Love Protection Plan. The Sun Love Protection Plan can be added to your sunglasses when you add a pair of sunglasses to cart online or during the checkout process in store.

Term of your plan is 12 months plus two weeks to allow for delivery of your product.
