OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OR SURVEY PARTICIPATION IS REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. ELIGIBILITY: OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES AND DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, PUERTO RICO (EXCLUDING ALL OTHER U.S. TERRITORIES) AND CANADA (EXCLUDING QUEBEC) WHO ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AND HAVE REACHED THE AGE OF MAJORITY IN THEIR JURISDICTION OF RESIDENCE AS OF THE DATE OF ENTRY. Employees, officers and directors of Sunglass Hut Trading, LLC, 4000 Luxottica Place, Mason, OH 45040 ("Sponsor"), its parent, subsidiaries, and affiliated companies, advertising, promotion, or production agencies, web masters/suppliers and their IRS dependents and immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings) and individuals residing in their same household, (whether or not related) are not eligible to participate. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants (and entrant's parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor) fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Void where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. All federal, state and provincial laws and regulations apply.
2. PROMOTION PERIOD: SUNGLASS HUT RATINGS & REVIEW SWEEPSTAKES (“Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) on March 6, 2014 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on March 31, 2014 (the "Promotion Period").
3. HOW TO ENTER There are two ways to enter.
   
   To Enter Online with Purchase: Visit http://www.sunglasshut.com/sweepstakes (U.S. and Puerto Rico entrants) or www.sunglasshut.com/RR1sweepstakes (Canada entrants, excluding Quebec) and write a review of your recent purchase and/or shopping experience at Sunglass Hut. After completing the review you will have the opportunity to enter by completing a registration form with your first/last name, e-mail address, and phone number. Upon completion of the entry form, you will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes.
   
   To Enter by Mail without Purchase: To enter without providing a written on-line review, hand print your first/last name, e-mail address and phone number on a 3” x 5” card and mailing in a hand addressed envelope to: Sunglass Hut Ratings & Review Sweepstakes, c/o eCommerce Dept., 4000 Luxottica Place, Mason, OH 45040. Mailed entries must be postmarked by March 31, 2014 and received no later than April 5, 2014.
   
   Limit one (1) entry and one (1) review per person/address/email address during the Promotion Period. No mechanically reproduced or photocopied entries permitted. Any entries received from any person/address/email address in excess of the limit stated will be void. Late, incomplete or otherwise non-compliant entries are void. Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. No other method of entry or participation is valid. Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device for this Sweepstakes for entries via the Internet. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and provincial laws and regulations.
4. NOTIFICATION/ODDS:Two (2) potential winners will be selected from all eligible entries in a random drawing on or about April 6, 2014. The potential winner/s will be notified by phone, e-mail and/or mail at Sponsor’s sole discretion on or about April 7, 2014. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within five (5) days after the first attempt to contact such potential winner has been made, an alternate winner will be selected from all of the remaining eligible entries. The Prize will be mailed via U.S. Postal Services within seven (7) days after the winner returns any required documentation. No substitution, cash redemption or transfer of prize, but Sponsor reserves right to substitute prize with prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
5. PRIZES: One (1) $250 Sunglass Hut Gift Cards will be awarded to each winner. There are two (2) prizes available with a total ARV of $500 USD. Potential winners will be contacted by phone and/or e-mail (see #3) and may (and, in the case of Canadian residents, shall) be required to sign and return to the Sponsor the Sponsor’s Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Prize Acceptance Form (the “Sponsor’s Release Form”) postmarked within five (5)) days of the date of notification. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within five (5) days after the first attempt to contact such potential winner has been made, an alternate winner will be selected from all of the remaining eligible entries. In the event that such alternative potential winner shall also be disqualified, the Sponsor reserves the right (but shall have no obligation) to select (and attempt to contact in the same fashion) further alternative potential winners, until a prize winner has been confirmed. Noncompliance within this time period may result in disqualification and the selection by the Sponsor of an alternative potential winner. In compliance with Canadian law, Canadian residents will be required, before being declared a winner, to correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question posed, at the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor, either by telephone at a pre-arranged, mutually convenient time, or on the Sponsor’s Release Form.
6. PUBLICITY RELEASE: Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize constitutes winner’s consent that their name, likeness, voice and/or biographical data may be used in any medium for advertising and promotional purposes without limitation and without additional notice, compensation or consent.
7. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Entrant agrees (a) that Sponsor, its parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, agents, successors and assigns are released, will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against any liability for any injuries, losses, damages, costs or expenses of any kind to person(s), including without limitation, personal injury and/or death, or property damage resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant's participation in Sweepstakes, or acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize or participation in any Sweepstakes related activities and for claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery and (b) except where legally prohibited, winner grants (and agrees to confirm that grant in writing) permission to Sponsor and those acting under its authority the right to the use of his/her name, address (city and state/jurisdiction), picture, portrait, likeness, voice, biographical information and/or statements, at any time or times, for advertising, trade, publicity and promotional purposes without additional compensation, in any and all media now known or hereafter developed, worldwide, without notice, review or approval. If any prize notification or prize is returned as non-deliverable, or if a winner is found to be ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. 8. LIABILITY LIMITATIONS: Neither Sponsor nor its agencies are responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or non-delivered entries or e-mail; or for interrupted or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), Website, telephone or other connections, availability or accessibility, or miscommunications, or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, or lines, or technical failure or jumbled, corrupted, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures, or technical errors or difficulties, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic or network or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or other information or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such information. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of this Sweepstakes or otherwise attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Sponsor representatives, as solely determined by the Sponsor, will be disqualified. Any use of robotic, automatic, macro, programmed or like entry methods will void all such entries by such methods, and disqualify any entrant using such methods. Neither Sponsor nor its agencies are responsible for injury or damage to entrants' or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading materials from or use of the Website. Should any portion of the Sweepstakes be, in Sponsor's sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, technical failures or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes, and select the winners from entries received prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. In compliance with Puerto Rican law, such right to terminate, cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes in Puerto Rico is subject to authorization by the Puerto Rican Secretary of Department of Consumer Affairs. Neither Sponsor nor its agencies are responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Website users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes, and assume no responsibility for any error, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation, or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, or unauthorized use of this Website.
9. Choice of Law and Dispute Resolution – This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New York applicable to contracts made and performed in the State of New York, without respect to conflict of law doctrines. As a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, participants agree that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in New York, New York having jurisdiction and Entrants irrevocably consent to the Jurisdiction of the courts located in New York, New York; and (2) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ENTRANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN AWARDS FOR, AND ENTRANT HEREBY WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO CLAIM, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES AND ANY OTHER DAMAGES, OTHER THAN FOR ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES, AND ANY AND ALL RIGHTS TO HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE INCREASED. SPONSOR’S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH THIS SWEEPSTAKES, WHETHER IN CONTRACT OR TORT OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE STATED ARV OF THE PRIZES OFFERED HEREUNDER. . In the event any provision of these Official Rules will be held to be unenforceable, these Official Rules will continue in full force and effect without such provision. These Official Rules are intended to be the complete, final and exclusive statement of the terms of the agreement between each Entrant and the Sponsor relating to the subject matter hereof.
10. PERSONAL INFORMATION:Sponsor will be collecting personal data about entrants online, in accordance with its privacy policy. Please review the Sponsor’s privacy policy. By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants hereby agree to Sponsor’s collection and usage of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted Sponsor’s privacy policy
