Can I use a gift card to make a purchase online?

Of course you can. Up to eight (8) gift cards may be used on one order. You may use the gift card on your purchase, or if your gift card falls short, you can make up the balance with a valid credit card. You may not combine a gift card with a Sunglass Hut Credit Card or with PayPal®.

Can I make multiple purchases with my gift card and e-gift card?

You sure can. Your gift card carries a balance until all of the credit is used up. One thing to remember, however, when you use your gift card online, your card is locked until your order is fully processed and shipped. During that time, your balance will be unavailable to use.

How do I purchase a gift card or e-gift card?

You can buy a physical gift card or an e-gift card right here at Physical gift cards can also be purchased at any Sunglass Hut store using a valid form of payment.

Can I return a gift card?

Unfortunately a Sunglass Hut gift card cannot be returned. There's no expiration date, however. So save it. Re-gift it. Or better yet, use it. You can always do with a new pair of sunglasses.

What if I lose my gift card?

Sunglass Hut gift cards will not be replaced if lost, stolen or damaged and are subject to the terms on the card.

Do I need to spend the exact amount on my gift card?

Not all at once. If you buy something and have a balance left over, you can use your card again on your next purchase. If your gift card falls short on your next purchase, you can just make up the balance with a valid credit card.

How can I redeem my gift card for cash?

Under certain state laws, you may be entitled to obtain cash for the balance remaining on your gift card, if your balance is below a certain level. If you are a resident of one of these states, and the balance on your gift card is less than $10, you may redeem it for cash in the following states: California Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Missouri, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington and West Virginia.

Can I transfer my gift card to someone else to use the remaining balance?

Yes. You can give your gift card to someone else to use any remaining balance.

What will I receive when I send an e-gift card?

If you’re sending an e-gift card, you will receive a confirmation email that your order has been placed.

What will the recipient receive when I send an e-gift card?

The recipient will receive an email that contains their e-gift card number, PIN and a barcode that allows the e-gift card to be scanned in store.

When will the recipient receive my e-gift card?

Sunglass Hut e-gift cards arrive via email within 24 hours of placing the order. Some exceptions apply. All orders are subject to a verification process.

Sunglass Hut is not responsible for e-gift cards that are undeliverable because of an inaccurate email address. If the gift card still hasn’t arrived in the 24 hour period, it could be due to:

  • Spam filter blocking the email
  • Recipient's firewall blocking the email
  • Invalid email address

How do I redeem my e-gift card?

You can redeem your Sunglass Hut e-gift card online, in stores or by phone.

Enter your e-gift card number and PIN at checkout to automatically apply the amount.
Print a copy of your e-gift card or allow the cashier to scan the barcode from your mobile device.
Give the representative your e-gift card number and PIN when ordering.
