Second pair of Flacks! The 2.0 has better eye coverage and visibility then my Flack 1.0. Love both of them but these are my new faves. Light and fit amazing! I only buy Oakley and I only buy them on sale. They are expensive but are worth price. When I throw on a cheap pair of aviators for the lake I instantly know these are not Oakleys but I'm not losing my Oakleys at the lake in the water. So sometimes I do buy cheap glasses that I don't care about! Haha

Rated 2 out of 5 by grgwmsm I bought a pair of Flak 2.0 XL sunglasses thinking they would be an upgrade to my Flak Jacket XLJ sunglasses. The TL;DR is I ended up going back to my Flak Jacket XLJs.
The Flak 2.0 XL are comfortable to wear and weigh a little less than the XLJs; however, the Flak Jacket XLJs fit me much better overall in lens coverage (I can clearly see the black bulbs of the Flak 2.0 XL stems connecting to the lenses in the corners of my eyes for example, yet I can just barely see the stems in my XLJs and I have to look for it to even notice). The XLJ lenses also rest closer to my face providing better impact protection from things flying up from below or from the sides, there is less space for stuff to get underneath. (I've actually seen debris fly up under sunglass lenses and cause damage). The XLJs also look better aesthetically as well.
I don't know if the Flak 2.0 XLs are intended to replace the Flak Jacket XLJs, but they shouldn't. The Flak 2.0 XL and the Flak Jacket XLJ are really best represented as two different models of sunglasses. The Flak 2.0 XL are larger all around and this makes them look (on me) like an oversized pair of sunglasses, similar to wearing an XL sized shirt on a medium sized torso. Yeah, you can wear it, but it obviously doesn't fit proper.
For those out there who get a good fit from the Flak Jacket XLJ, the Flak 2.0 XL is unlikely to serve you well as well. If you have a larger face and always found the Flak Jacket XLJ too small a fit, the Flak 2.0 XL will probably be an excellent model for you to try. The Flak 2.0 XL are a fine pair of sunglasses, but they won't be replacing my Flak Jacket XLJ sunglasses.

The fit is good. They look sporty and provide protection in bright sunlight .
