I have always been a fan of ray-ban classic aviators in the 58mm however I decided it was time for a change. I love how feminine these are and how they suite round, oval or heart shaped faces. I recently got into polarized lenses and definitely prefer them over non-polarized. Also the glass lenses are better quality compared to the plastic lenses.

I have owned the cockpits for 6 years now and I absolutely LOVE them!!!!! They take some getting used to at first since they are glass lenses, but after a week or so you don't even notice them on your face. I wear them everywhere and they are my go to glasses in most every situation. I have a pair of Prada's that cost twice as much and I never use them. A waste of money in my opinion. The ray bans polarized lenses cannot be beat by any other company. I've tried Maui Jim's, and other more expensive brands with polarized lenses and they just cannot compete with these. I have dropped them a few times and chipped the lenses, I was very upset, I have been considering replacing them with another brand for two years now but I can't part with them. I will be getting the cockpits again. They are that good!

I've been wearing Ray Bans for years, and two years ago gave away my final pair.... what was I thinking? Trying to impress someone by giving up amazing sunglasses is really not wise... DON'T DO IT! I decided that I could make do with other brands. In the past two years, I've gone through more than five pairs of good sunglasses. Emphasis on good. They weren't great, and consequently didn't inspire in me the desire to take good care of them. There is something mystical about the connection between a pair of Ray Bans with their owner. You take care of them, you keep up with them, and in return they transform you into awesomeness each time they're on your face....Ray Ban - I'm back, and won't be wearing any other brand! And friends, don't ask me to give you a pair.... the answer is NO!

I was on the fence about spending $200 for sunglasses. But these are worth it. Just know they felt a bit heavy at first (I was wearing Oakley's prior to this purchase). But I tweaked the nose pads to get them suited to my face and now, they're fine. I got used to them after a couple of weeks. Be patient if you experience the same thing.
They look great. The Mrs. loves them, which doesn't hurt. I think it was worth the money for these. They're high quality. Exceptional coverage in the sun.
